Password Protection

Security is a subject we are highly committed to here at MessageBird. A fundamental part of this is to ensure that our customers select the strongest passwords for their accounts.

So to make it a breeze, whenever a user registers and creates an account, reset a forgotten password or logs in to an existing account, we will check against the HaveIBeenPwned API to see if it is a weak password. If the chosen password doesn’t fit the criteria, they will then be able to easily improve the protection of their account 👀
