The New Normal

B.C. Premier John Horgan warns raging wildfires and toxic haze could be "the new normal" for B.C. summers.

I walked out of my house this morning and looked up to see the sun as a pink glow through the haze. I guess this The New Normal? Quite sad really.

We're going through some devastating wildfires in B.C. this summer. Close to 600 fires are burning across the province making the sky hazy and air quality crappy. Sadly I don't think it's going to improve unless we start to take climate change dead seriously. Our federal government investing in tar sands production, an extremely dirty and wasteful product that they want to ship around the world. I hope people will wake up soon and realize we cannot continue on the path of rape and pillage.
