Serendipia [Proof of Concept]
I was tasked with the creation of a proof of concept blockchain decentralized iOS app that would gamify the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for the United Nations (UN). This was a unique and exciting opportunity for our team to create a meaningful and impactful product that could potentially be used by a global audience.
The first step in our design process was to research and understand the SDGs and how they could be incorporated into a gamified app. We worked closely with the UN to understand the specific goals and how they related to each other, as well as how they could be translated into game mechanics and challenges.
Once we had a solid understanding of the content, we began to focus on the experience and how the app could be engaging and enjoyable for players. We created wireframes and prototypes to test out various gameplay ideas and gather feedback.
As we developed the app, we also focused on ensuring that it was fully decentralized and secure. We utilized blockchain technology to ensure that all data was accurately recorded and stored, and we worked with security experts to ensure that the app was protected from any potential threats.
As the app began to take shape, we also focused on the visual design and branding. We wanted to create a cohesive and attractive look that would appeal to a wide audience. We worked with a team of graphic designers to create custom graphics and icons, and we carefully selected colors and fonts to create a cohesive and visually appealing interface.
After several months of development, we were able to launch the app and it quickly gained popularity. Players were able to earn rewards and achievements as they completed challenges related to the SDGs, and they were able to track their progress and see how they compared to other players around the world.
Overall, it was a rewarding and challenging experience to design a proof of concept app that gamified the SDGs for the UN. The end result was a successful and engaging product that not only provided entertainment, but also had the potential to make a positive impact on the world.
