Moon 5 - Rima Marama

Another large moon made from 100+ year old houses from my home city of Auckland New Zealand. Mainly constructed from ceiling battens and tongue and groove wall linings.

The ceiling battens are from my neighbours kitchen renovation and the wall linings were from a friends house down the street from me.

This material was destined for the landfill, I climbed into a skip bin to recover the best of it. Several layers of paint, scrapes and nail holes make them so unique.
