The Life Aquatic

Wes Anderson is one of my favourite filmmakers, and it's not just because of his visual aesthetic. as the the only real evidence of his deliberate art direction that sticks out to me is the yellow jumpsuit Owen Wilson wore for his job working for Mr. Henry's Lawn Wranglers landscape crew in Bottle Rocket, which is the film that made me fall in love with his work. The life Aquatic, his most ambitious film next to The Grand Budapest Hotel, isn't my favourite movie of his but it's my favourite in terms of art direction, so I decided to give it a shot and work on a piece that reflected my love of this movie.
