Open Hand Logo - Grid System Reveal Animation

Circling back to an old favorite because I wanted to try out @Dribbble's new upload experience :)

This logo is for a Karate-based self-defense school. The brand was built around the tatami proportion (2:1) as an allusion to the mats that make up the foundation of the dojo. This proportion not only helped shape the logo, but defined things like size relation for typography and grid systems for layout.
