Mosaic—C—Sun Mark

One of our clients in California has been using a mark-less logotype for years. They recently tasked us with developing a symbol that would pair well with their existing logotype.

From the brand book:
"The Collection at Riverpark is an open-air shopping and lifestyle center located in Ventura County, California.
The property combines high-end ambiance with a laid-back, coastal vibe in a way that feels uniquely Californian."

The mosaic aesthetic is a nod to the many mosaic murals found throughout the property, designed by well-known ceramic artist Frank Bauer.

This concept is one of my favorites, though it's unused. I'll post the rest (and the chosen mark) soon.
