KaiOS Brand Guidelines

It was our pleasure to work on the re-design of the KaiOS brand guidelines. Most notably, a few months after this redesign, they received a $22M from Google! Just saying…😉

KaiOS Technologies powers an emerging ecosystem of affordable digital products and services. Their main product, KaiOS, is a web-based operating system that enables a new category of smart feature phones and other IoT devices that require limited memory, while still offering a rich user experience. Their mission is to help bridge the digital divide—connecting the billions of people in emerging markets who still don’t have internet access, as well as those in established markets who are looking for easy-to-use phones with advanced functionality.

While they had pretty solid brand guidelines established by their internal UX team, our challenge was to further revamp and expand them.

We added a bit of 'joy' in it by creating transitions that match with the KaiOS branding language and improved the overall layout of the brand guidelines, by taking care of typography, space, and additional pages covering partner guidelines for events and other market materials.
