Built For This Live Mural

This was an awesome project that I did back in June for the American Library Association Annual Conference.

Playaway Products built for librarians, so we asked the question “how are you built for being a librarian?” Throughout the event I illustrated their answers on a giant white wall. We had answers like “Libraries saved my life as a teenager” and “I’m passionate about teaching and helping others.” Hearing everyone’s story was pretty amazing and I’m thankful for the opportunity to share this with them.

I have to say, walking up to a blank white wall with just a permanent marker was pretty intimidating at first—but I had a blast! It’s true what they say: if you love what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life.
