The complete logo design is made to looks like a pencil because SourceNote is a company of writers. The note is included in the design, on the folded part and that was added to the note can be separated from the pencil. The client wants an iconic and playful design that can be used in small sizes for a mobile app. After combining those elements this is the final design with the technology feel.
