I use low-fidelity wireframes flow as a part of UX documentation and handover process to help Engineering team and UI designers understand the user flow in terms of a clear, benefit-oriented value proposition. It helps help them understand where users are going and each step user takes to get there. This also minimizes friction between the Designers and Front-end Developers and documentation of the developed Designs.
