Thirty Logos Design Challenge - Day 5 - Wildlife

Today's challenge (well yesterday's, I'm a bit behind :3) was to design an animal logo for "a non-profit organization that preserves the life and habitat of wild animals throughout the world".

I wanted to use an animal that everyone knows and likes but isn't commonly used. I really like the giraffe because it's beautiful, unique and interesting (read about its anatomy sometime). I like how it turned out, but I think I could do better. This is probably too detailed for a logo. I'd like to try again someday after practicing more illustration.
