Spanish Sardines

These are a series of illustrations I did based on my travels through Spain. I've created three illustrations per city visited.

City 5: Santander

Being a coastal town, Santander is known for their seafood. A local favorite are sardines (our hotel was actually called El Sardinero, the sardine fisherman.) They serve the sardines on plates, not tin cans, and while I’m not a seafood fan I can appreciate how crispy and well cooked they were. I instead opted for the beef products. Oh man. Guys. I had an entrecot that was the meal I’ve ever ever had. They definitely know how to cook here in Spain.
