Being the son of a forester & avid outdoorsman I had stared at my fair share of maps growing up. I would spend hours pouring over my father's topography USGS maps & quadrangle plotted designs. The detail, linework, & geometry formed on the page captivated me as a child. It also gave me a deep appreciation & love for where I call home. Seeing the mountains, valleys, and lakes translated to 2-dimensional designs fascinated me.
