Vectorized Acrylic Paint Pours 2

For this project, we were each put in a group with artists of different practices. We were told to partake in some sort of methodology to produce an artwork that we all had a part in.

In my group we chose to work with the idea of appropriation. We thought it would be interesting to do a blind art hand-off. One member created something, then another appropriated/changed it using their practice, and the last member created the final product combining their practice and the previous member's art piece.

I was the middle member. I was given acrylic poured paintings and I was inspired by vectorized portraits. Photos are just pixels of different colors, and I like the idea of simplifying the color into larger geometric areas. So I decided to create a vectorized version of the acrylic poured paintings. This was one of my experiments.
