Today’s experiment: first foray into trying to make yarn images line up with a side of a pom cube. It worked... okay. Real brain noodler trying to figure out where to wrap the yarn on the pom maker, I’m tellin ya. The real challenge will be a Rubik’s cube or alphabet blocks, but I’m definitely not emotionally prepared to try those yet. Also, I gotta stop torturing myself with trimming these bizarre compound shapes. This house was originally going to have a yarn + vinyl window (see last video in Instagram post) but by the time I finished the roof, I wanted to chuck this thing out a real window, so that idea got the boot. Maybe next time, clear vinyl!
