Japan - Hungary 150th anniversary

This logo was made for Japan and Hungary 150th anniversary.
The goal was to create a simple, easy to remember, meaningful logo for the event. The three stripes create 2 red and these red ones are reflect on Duna and Tisza Hungary's important rivers.
The mountain is Yuri one of Japan's beautiful places. The logo never made the competition unfortunately.
