JG Monogram

I've been really inspired by Yasaburo Kuwayama's 'Trade Marks & Symbols' book series lately and it inspired me to make a simple symbol for an upcoming refresh to my personal website.

This shot is a monogram of my initials, JG. Bit hard to see I know, but that's kinda what I was going for. I didn't want to use the same clichés that other JG monograms out there have.

Any thoughts/opinions on it? As a newcomer to being a formal designer I'd love to hear it.
