Roman Aqueduct

These are a series of illustrations I did based on my travels through Spain. I've created three illustrations per city visited.

City 3: Segovia

Segovia is also known for its stunning Roman Aqueduct which greets you as you enter the old part of the city. The structure stands a staggering 93 feet and 6 inches at its highest point. As you walk under it you hear a continuous chirping coming from the thousands of birds which have turned the aqueduct into their private condominiums. The construction date remains a mystery, but it’s believed it was built in the 1st century AD. As I stood under this feat of engineering I could only think one thing: how the *#!? can this thing last two millennia but my phone breaks after 2 years.
