CrossFit Sebastopol Redesign : Responsive Web Design

As a freelancer, I love working with small businesses. For these clients, I typically handle the design and take on additional roles as needs surface. In the case of CrossFit Sebastopol, the owners are friends, and I handled nearly every role for the web site redesign. Working closely with the owners and starting with an existing logo, I created UX designs, established a photo art direction, created the UI designs and illustrations, wrote copy for the site, organized photo and video shoots, built the site in Adobe Muse, and launched it! This was my first time using Adobe Muse, and I was able to include multiple custom responsive breakpoints per page, custom webfonts, retina images, SVG graphics, signup forms, and third party plugins (for videos, daily workout, map, and schedule). Being part of a fitness community inspires and motivates as well as creating accountability. Besides, it's more fun to sweat with friends.
