Inspired by the happiest place on earth, this whimsical series explores the unsung heroes of the park; the ride vehicles.

As the precursor to Big Thunder Mountain, Mine Train Thru Nature's Wonderland was a beautiful ride through the Western countryside. Inspired by Disney's True-Life Adventures, the ride featured countless audio-animatronic animals and the incredibly themed Rainbow Caverns. But the real hero of this ride was the wonderfully crafted train, with its colorful palette and whimsical design, the mine train ushered its many guests through the western landscape until 1977 when the doors finally closed on this attraction.
