Character Study

This is part of a recent series to explore color palettes, shape, and motion.

This illustration was inspired by a young magpie my mother rescued last year. She was very talkative, and kind of a troublemaker. She would jump on people's heads, steal food from the dining table, or poop on the pile of clean clothes. She ended up making friends with other birds outside, and left the house after a couple of months.
