Sci-Fi UI #24 - Cosmic Key

The Cosmic Key created by Gwildor and taken by Skeletor to travel into Castle Grayskull and take over Eternia in the 1987 adaptation of Masters of the Universe.
The movie prop, created by Boss Film Studios and lead by Richard Edlund, was apparently an expensive endeavour costing over $150,000. Due to the complexity of the design and the mechanics it required a "Cosmic Key Team" to make emergency repairs and adjustments on set.
One thing I noticed about the design is that the colour choices of gold and purple closely match that of Skeletor from the original toys, hopefully this isn't just coincidental.
