One of the first E ticket attractions, Matterhorn opened as a part Disneyland's first major expansion in 1959 and has been thrilling riders ever since. The vehicles aerodynamic and simple design created for an exciting and fast ride on the world's first roller coaster to employ a tubular steel track.
