Pushteni

PUSHTENI which means 'inherited' depicts the quaint old businesses that continue to survive in Mumbai in a day and age to which they appear unsuited.
These businesses, which are the ‘heritage trades’ go unnoticed by many. But they still provide a living for the people owning them even in the hustle and bustle of Mumbai city. These are usually inherited from generations in their families and still continue to provide services in the corners of Mumbai. There still is an audience to these services. I came across these and with this concept I intent on shedding some light on these lesser known business practices which are an integral part of the city since ages.
