Onboarding
We recently redesigned our onboarding flow! Front is a powerful collaboration tool and it was critical we introduce core concepts while avoiding friction.
These were the key changes we made:
1) Dramatically showcase the difference between your individual and team setup. We accomplished this with a split screen UI that transitions to a new color and illustration when you've completed the first step.
2) Simplify the setup of your first shared account. During onboarding, we only support connecting to the most popular types of accounts — email, Twitter, Facebook, and Twilio.
3) Get the user exploring Front as quickly as possible. We limited onboarding to 3 simple steps — connecting your individual account, connecting a team account and inviting your teammates.
