Lettering Process

Here is a quick hand lettering process shot. 1. I start with an initial sketch that I feel is working well. 2. I snap a photo with my phone and drop it into Illustrator where I trace over it, using guides to keep everything consistent. 3. After several passes of smoothing curves in each letter and adjusting the letterspacing, the effects can be applied.

Some tweaking still needs to be done here, but it's enough to work with!
