Heathen Natives Logo

Heathen Natives is a vinyl and cd trading and distribution company, with a portfolio of over 1,600 labels offering a huge variety of music items. Based on the strong differentiation of the company from domestic competition and a large number of African and generally distinct labels from around the world, we designed a particular logo. A brand that communicates an artistic character, without pretending, while it has its roots in the aborigines and in more primitive times.

The rough lines that are featured on the design of the logo refer to the African continent and a more minimal style representing a brand with soul and strong identity, like the spark of a fire. This is precisely the illustration, which is enclosed in a parallelogram shape, resulting in a more intense result. All custom typography completes the set, while the black colour removes any unnecessary details.
