Showmax - A new way of binging

Showmax (a Naspers subsidiary) is an African subscription video on demand (SVOD) service currently active in over 40 countries.

Showmax recruited +Drie fill the positions of Global Head of Design and acting Product Design Team. Our joint goal was to push for maximum growth and to take Netflix head on in Africa and Eastern Europe.

To accomplish this we initiated a global re-brand and executed a complete platform wide UX strategy. Through small iterative changes and close collaboration with the in-house product and development teams we managed to acquire an retain an insane amount of active paying subscribers in a ridiculously short time.
