User Journeys

Here is a snapshot of some user flows I have created.

When working on projects with complex functionality, it's a UX designers job to understand the users needs and journey through your product, and communicate this well to your team members.

I like to create user flows that are visual and give an indication of the functionality of the final interface. For example, this user flow shows that the bidding functionality will happen in a modal window popup, keeping users on the same page while in the online bidding process. This helps strike interesting conversations, gaining more insight into the user's needs.

How do you guys sketch out user flows to communicate with your client and your team?
