Bodoni Says Relax

Typographic study of the late 18th-century type. Developed by Giambattista Bodoni in 1790, Bodoni is a modern serif heavily inspired by Baskerville. It is marked by a stark contrast between thick and thin strokes, on a fully vertical axis.

Developed many centuries before (1790!!), it still carries the freshness and modernistic charm. No doubt it is one of most popular type of choice for fashion brands (Vogue, Armani, Calvin Klein, Elle, Harper Bazaar etc.) looking for elegance and timelessness in their brand story.
