Michigan United SC 2.0
Having too much fun with this to put it down yet. Stole some elements of the Coat of Arms of the State of Michigan to add a greater level of symbolism and texture. The eagle obviously represents the "United" States. The elk and moose represent Michigan's Upper and Lower Peninsulas and hold a shield with the word "Tuebor," meaning, "I will defend," referring to Michigan's frontier position. This also couldn't work any better as a motto for a soccer team. I added a soccer ball with a star in the center that represents Lansing, the capital of Michigan and my hometown. The hash marks at the bottom of the crest represent the five Great Lakes and could make a cool design element for the back of the neck of the kit. The plaid earth tones and hunter safety orange reference recreation in the great outdoors.
