Discover Coffee

Hello Dribble! Here's a concept for a coffee shop and café search app I worked on this week.

As a total coffee lover who also enjoys traveling, I often find myself struggling to find decent coffee spots in the various cities I visit. Although Google is often the go-to, the results can often be a bit iffy or tough to sort through, so the concept here is focused around an application that highlights cool or niche cafés in a city, providing details such as opening hours, proximity to you, a brief about, the address, and user reviews.

For branding I went for a light color palette, using a lot of white and gold tinted with brown to contrast the various browns and darker colours of coffee and interiors that cafés often have.

I utilised cards in my design here and wanted to give a feel similar to Google's material design, while not fully using all aspects of this design language. I will be making a future post soon incorporating some animation into this UI to really bring it to life, so stay tuned!
