Bakes Logo Wip 02

Working on a cupcake logo and the client is happy with this current version. I tried to disconnect the lines on left to keep it fairly minimal (and looking less like a poop as possible!) but now I'm trying to clean it up and can't seem to find a geometric way to clean it up without ruining the proportions!

Any tips would be welcome!
