Medium Article Illustration

Medium recently gave me the opportunity to take part in the launch of FUTURE HUMAN, their monthly themed magazine, and I was able to provide this really fun illustration to the article titled "The Gloves We'll Wear on Mars". It's all about the design of future tech and fashion, and how the way society handles this innovation will determine the path forward.

Since the post talks about many ways in which gloves could differ on Mars I wanted to show a few examples of how they could be used and styled for different industries. I did this entire piece on the iPad using Sketch and the Apple Pencil, which is a-typical of my normal Wacom Cintiq workflow, but it was a ton of fun.

I hope to get the chance to do more of these spots going into the future. Maybe I'll need my own pair of Mars drawing gloves one day? :)

Definitely check out the article. It's really well written and goes in depth on some really fascinating future tech. True hover boards here we come!
