DeadBeat

Day # 23 of the Thirtylogos.com design challege. Deadbeat is an online music community focusing on EDM, Drum and Bass, House, Debstep and more. For reference, sites like Monstercat and 99Lives are their closest competitors. Deadbeat wanted to focus on a logo incorporating Dead + Beat theme. My interpretation was to design a skull and headphones with the beat being the life in its eyes and the pulse in its heart. The color scheme is all Pantone. The complementary colors do clash a bit but end up creating a sunrise/sunset vibe (energy/beat) with the light blue representing the dead. Enjoy!
