The first few frames were quickly draw because it’s too hard to rig quick smushy stuff like that. The shot started with 3D controllers but that was the total wrong thing for it, so in the end it was a gross mixture of 3D nulls, toComp() expressions, 2D layers and lots of Hose property adjustment. This ugly mess made something simple like the fall at the end really tough to control so that’s just a Transform Effect on an adjustment layer followed by a smear frame. It doesn’t matter how you get there, as long as the shot works. Also, try to plan things out more.
