Rebuild
Week 11. 11/3/2011 is a date that will forever be engraved in the mind of every Japanese. Last week it was exactly a year ago when Japan was hit by a catastrophic earthquake and tsunami that hit its eastern coast. It was the most powerful known earthquake ever to have hit Japan, and one of the five most powerful earthquakes in the world. The destruction was unprecedented and the loss of life and property were staggering - more than 15,800 are confirmed dead, with another 3,300 still listed as missing nearly a year later.
I'm simply impressed with the Japanese people and the speed of rebuild progress. Massive respect!
