Fortuna, Goddess of Luck

Got a little side-tracked working on something else and just needed to finish this illustration of the goddess Fortuna. Inspiration came from a project I'm doing for my 9-5.

Like many gods–and our current god, The Internet–she'll either shower you with good fortune, or drop a rock on your head. Hopefully depicting her benevolent mode will bring the former!

From Wikipedia: "the goddess of fortune and the personification of luck in Roman religion. Fortuna is often depicted with a [...] cornucopia (horn of plenty). She might bring good or bad luck: she could be represented as veiled and blind, as in modern depictions of Lady Justice, and came to represent life's capriciousness."

Maybe one of these days I'll get around to learning to illustrate the lower body.
