Dynamic Video Poster Image

This is a hackathon week experiment using JW Player's Video Intelligence service for thumbnails.

If a viewer scrolls past a video without engaging with the player, we can use our thumbnail ranking service to dynamically swap out the default poster image with the highest-scoring thumbnail from the video, giving us an additional opportunity to engage the viewer.
