Style Tile

Venturing into some visual design with a style tile or two. I always enjoy this exercise because it allows you to isolate a few elements and see how everything works together.

Like I mentioned about hi-fi wireframes, it's helpful to isolate some design decisions along the way so that you can evaluate how well things are working. In this case, style tiles isolate the visual language apart from content strategy so you can see how the branding might be applied to web.

With the content strategy set aside, the goal is not to evaluate what goals the design is helping the user accomplish, but rather how the the visual style feels as a supporting role to those goals.
