typelist
This is a project I started a couple years ago when I was obsessed with Vignelli and wanted to create a list of fonts that I could use for everything. After many versions and iterations, constantly comparing and closely critiquing typefaces, I think I've finally settled on a nearly perfect list (based, to some degree, on personal preference, of course).
The list contains an assortment of serif, sans-serif, monospaced, and display faces, including alternatives and web alternatives to the primary faces. It can be either a small poster when flat, or accordian-folded into quarters for a leaflet to keep in your sketchbook.
Stop wasting time on extensive type studies!
