Queerthletics

Happy Pride Month! Did you know 80% of all participants in an “Out in the Fields” report and 82% of lesbian, gay and bisexual (LGB) participants “said they have witnessed or experienced homophobia in sport?”

Queerthletics aims to combat that statistic. The image-sharing concept is geared towards high school and college-aged athletes. The app is intended to help athletes deal with homophobia in sports by creating a community where LGBTQ athletes can get advice, learn how to navigate situations, and offer support to others.
