Cruise Booking Product

Much like the redesign process that was accomplished with the Flights product, the seamless integration and consistency with other products in the suite was applied to the Cruise booking product. In order to achieve an effective solutions, there were several components of the UX practice that informed this solution. Starting with research (user research, based on personas/character outlined, user journey maps, empathy maps, analytics, business strategy), ideation workshops (with the production of different artifacts), prototypes (with additional user testing sessions to accomplish validation of concepts and flows defined), and finally applying the UI and Interactive patterns defined for the product suite. The specificity of the Cruise product, resulted in a flow that while lengthier, is also transparent and credible for the user to successfully achieve a booking across multiple platforms. Again factors such as localization, accessibility, usability, performance, were all taken into account.
