Encrypted Chat App Logo Mark Ideation

We designed a variety of logos for Chadder, an encrypted messaging app focused on creating an exclusive community. This mark stems from the traditional concept of a wax seal. During the days of snail mail, a person could tell that his/her mail was delivered securely when the wax stamp remained intact upon arrival. This logo displays the kind of security that Chadder offers its members. The mark, composed of two layers, represents encryption, with the chat bubble surrounded by a unique, protective outer shield. The formation of these two concepts communicates Chadder’s willingness to expose how their technology works to those interested, while simultaneously offering members a product they can trust.
