Hidden Patterns

As a part of my thesis process, I'm exploring the possibilities of coalescing typography to form patterns for various applications. This is a portion of a pattern that will be printed for an intricate bedding design created from the words, "comfort, sleep, soft, dream, warm, relax, tranquil, rest, snooze, slumber, and morpheus (Greek god of dreams and sleep)." When viewed up close, it just looks like a mass of obscured letters, but from a distance, an abstract pattern is discovered.
