Bless Image Trace

I didn't make this logo.

I've worked in printing for much of my time in design. Nowadays that translates to 'card printing'. I love printing. However, many businesses don't have clean high-resolution logos or one color versions of their logos. So... today I am posting this purely to applaud Adobe Illustrator's live trace tool.

It used to be a hot mess but these days the tool is just gorgeous. In this case, I took the client logo above, inverted and changed it to black and white in Photoshop using layer filters before dropping it into Illustrator for a tracing. This is... so much faster than asking and waiting for a black and white high res version from busy business owners.
