Usage Page

Through surveys and customer outreach, we discovered that Segment’s users would benefit greatly from more clarity on their plan limits and the relationship between their product usage and billing. Our redesigned usage page solves these problems with the following:

1. Outlines users’ plan limits and explains terms like “Monthly Tracked Users”
2. Aligns the usage data shown by billing period rather than by calendar month
3. Visualizing data usage by showing base rate and any overages via meters
