An All-New Acorns

It's been almost 2 years since my last post and I'm excited to finally share what I've been working on for the past 11 months.

A little over a year ago I decided to leave MTV and move back to Orange County to work for @Acorns, a financial technology micro-investing startup focused on the financial health and well-being of what we call the up-and-coming.

Shortly after joining I began work on the next evolution of Acorns. The challenge: To offer banking and investing services that positively affect the financial futures of our users, not our bottom line. A bank with the goal of helping our users Spend smarter, Save more and Invest for the future isn't something that currently exists in the way we think it should.

I decided that the next project I work on should be one that is helping society. This is why I joined Acorns.

Today we're officially launching the pre-order for the Tungsten-based Acorns Debit Card, the debit card that saves and invests for you in the background of everyday life, and a sneak peek at the all-new Acorns!
