Well, this banana was an adventure. I made pretty solid headway on an ambitious needle-felting experiment to turn some long yarn bits into sheets to make the the peels. That mission was aborted once I realized it was going to take like 3 hours of yarn (and finger) stabbing, and I ended up ripping out the matted yarn and gluing in some wool felt peels instead. I’m determined to have a felting success at some point during this project, but today was not that day.
